Our People
Tower Homes employs nearly 100 people with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
We have rapidly increased in size since we originally started in 1989 and now regularly help 1,500 households a year access affordable homeownership, with over 13,000 households helped in total. This growth has been matched by an increase in staff from our early beginnings of less than 15 to our current level of nearly 100. By investing in our people we have continued to improve our services and deliver excellent results.
As we have grown as a business we have developed the way we communicate with our people at all levels to ensure everyone is aware of our aims and how we are going to achieve them. We were the first organization of our type to win the Charter Mark for excellence in 1996 and have been re- accredited with this on a further three occasions.
We also have Investor in People status and are Positive About Disability issues and an age positive employer champion.
We place a strong emphasis on communication, consultation and involvement believing that staff engagement is at the heart of our success. In 2006 Tower was ranked no.1 in the Sunday Times Top 100 Small/Medium companies to work for list. This was voted for by staff.
